Pros and Cons

Pro: Trying a new format for blogging.
Con: Only doing this because I left it to the last minute, again.

Pro: Quick and easy to read.
Con: Cheating.

Pro: Got a haircut yesterday.
Con: The fringe is too short and it irks me.

Pro: Man Flu's gone.
Con: Still not going to bed at a sane hour.

I can't keep that up, I feel like I'm taking the English language and butchering it until it fits into a small, easily stored box I can keep in a cupboard somewhere.

Another good thing that happened was that I applied for a job yesterday! (Huzzah) Save for the fact that my email application was sent minus my CV (D'oh) but I noticed quickly enough and remedied the situation. I have since received an email from the employer confirming they're aware of my application so fingers crossed.

Sadly I'm not getting my hopes up, though the job would be a significant pay rise and a step in the right direction for me in terms of what I want to do with my life, it'd be a one in a million chance that I'd get the first job I apply for when hunting for a new job...so I'm keeping my optimism levels fairly low, if only to save myself future disappointment.

My haircut is part of a work in progress, I want to grow my hair out again but to do so everything has to be "in line"; so I've had to have my long-ish fringe cut back to the same length as the rest of my hair so it can all grow out evenly. I've been told this is female logic but I don't know exactly what that means so I suppose that's all there is to say on that subject.

Apologies for no blog post yesterday, I can really make an excuse for it, I was playing video games. I'm a horrible person, I know. I'm forcing myself to not miss more than a day at a time, especially now the new blogger interface shows you a little graph of page views which has declined pretty much ever since my first post (I know I live a boring life, and the Shakespeare probably didn't help) so I'm inclined to post on my Facebook and twitter again each time I make a post. Shameless advertising.

For anyone who wants to follow me on twitter who isn't already you can find me at www.twitter.com/Mauthus where I make the occasional tweet, normally of stuff similar to this blog in terms of interestingness. (I know that isn't a word, but you know what I meant by it).

At least I didn't make a ridiculously short blog post tonight, and hopefully it was semi interesting; which reminds me to thank you all for reading this, or at least not telling me to stop because my life is so hideously boring to read about.

  1. Damn, how was I supposed to know that to make a comment I had to click on the button that says 'no comments'!

Well I enjoy reading your blog posts, my fringeless friend, so keep posting them. But beware of female logic; the male mind cannot cope with it for long and your brain will turn to mush!

  2. Female logic, eh?
Sounds like the best kind of logic.
